Originally from the Waikato I have been living and working at sea around the world for the past 10 years, and after seeing huge problems in the ocean, I started organising beach and marina clean ups, and recruiting other yacht crew to help out.
When I got back to New Zealand, I was shocked to see such a huge rubbish problem here as well. After a year of doing local litter picking, more and more people were asking to come and help out, so I developed Keep Hamilton Beautiful and partnered with Keep New Zealand Beautiful. I wanted to create a supportive community of like minded individuals with a purpose ’through positive action creates positive influence and positive change’.
I value connecting, supporting and empowering people to create more sustainable lives and environments.

At the moment our team is made up of a variety of tidy Kiwis in the Waikato, but ideally, we need someone to come and help lead the team, as well as have more people to be involved with our core team, the amount of work is not too large and shared out.
